New look for La Détente Furniture. A major renovation of the building's exterior was carried out, starting with the demolition of the existing exterior covering, and replacing it with modern materials, mainly a mixture of James Hardie fibro cement panels, aluminum and acrylic. The brick masonry was retained and repainted. The roof membrane was also replaced to ensure the watertightness of the building and reduce heat islands. Finally, the curtain wall on the façade was also replaced to enhance the building's natural light and increase energy efficiency. A superb concept by A4 Architecture and Design.
The renovation of our building had been planned for a long time, but it took a long time to get the permits. CAMA was able to make the necessary bids and start the work quickly once we received the final plans and specifications. They were able to be there to answer our questions and quickly find solutions to the unforeseen problems involved in renovating a building. We are very happy with this collaboration which has given our company a lot of character.
